I am so excited to share that Laura our director of Second Chance Cats of West Michigan is featured in a new book! The book is called “Cat Women of West Michigan: The Secret Word of Cat Rescue”. This book is by our favorite animal enthusiast, Janet Vormittag.
Laura Moody, our president, was one of the cat women selected to be featured in the book!
Laura has been a cat lover since she was a child. And she volunteered at cat adoption agencies for many years before becoming the president of Second Chance Cats of West Michigan. Laura was a dog enthusiast until her husband brought home their first kitten Leo. Since then many cats come into their lives!
After West Michigan cat adoption and shelters shut down after Covid, Laura knew she had to follow her dreams and open up her very own adoption agency.
